Yeah 140 is the last bore and that's the 85-87???? cylinders. He must have a BB LOL. Don't waste your time getting mad at people like that. BTW there have been a lot tracks around here that quit letting quads ride because of whining dirtbike guys. I own both, but don't need a rut to turn my bike. I'd rather not have one actually. Guess I'm slow!!!!

I have run into people like this, and hate to say it but probably acted like this towards people as well

I think most people get weird about it because everyone has that thought in the back of their head that the person they are talking to might want to steal their shit.  that's the way I feel anyway.

I have had people come up try to bullshit me about their turbo banshee and blah blah and I just nod and smile and say I'm in a hurry

No disrespect to you Drewski since you are from Illinois but that is very typical of Chicago area people.
Now don't get me wrong I have meet allot of great people from Illinois that do not fit this stereotype but I swear they think if you from Wisconson Indiana or Michigan you live on a farm or dont have a pot to piss in and some how that makes them better than you.
We just call them FIP's   *ucking Illinois People

That's funny because around here we call them FIB'S.  f#$KING ILLINOIS BA*TARDS.  Also not always true but more times than not.  I would of felt the same way as you man.

HAHA perfect response to those asshats. I wouldn't sweat it.

Seems to me all off-road enthusiasts should be sticking together, because the available land for us to ride on is dwindling fast

When I got my first quad (05 Predator) I had a situation years ago that a bunch of guys from a Michigan quad site were trying to get people together to go to a mx track. I was thinking 'cool meet some new people to ride with'. Well about 8 of us went and I felt I got the cold shoulder right from the start. Trying to start a convo it was like I would only get yes and no answers. I don't know if it was because I rode a Polaris or didn't race harescrambles or maybe I forgot to shower tht morning. Most of these guys raced. As time went on I could see that there was a niche group of these guys on the site and would only talk to each other. Gee I wonder why the site died.

Karma. If they are local hopefully some day you will see them broke down on the trail and you can pull up and say " i remember you, have fun pushing it in."

I always have someone strike up a conversion at the gas station, when I'm loaded up and headed to Glamis. Always very enjoyable conversations. My favorite ones are the homeboys, I live in the southern part of San Diego. They don't talk about the bike and riding  as much as the up all night drink fests. I have my a-hole stories too, but mainly from the drunks already in Glamis.
