Coming along, been over a year since updating/refreshing began.
Arms coming in the mail. Motors at ritter cycle. 310 stroker finishing up. New rad valve billet basket and bearings/seals.
Older powder on the frame kind of a gun metal effect? Different shades all over, amateur job but im ok with it.
I gotta figure out how to get that new radiators ports going forward instead of doing a 90. The bottom conflicts with the frame.
I cleaned the swingarm with easy off but id rather it be polished. Bigger tank. All of this hides under 400ex plastics.
My avatar on the other site shows it the day i bought it 3 years ago. Ill try to get that over here.
I need my front shocks rebuilt, BAD.
Just want a good rider quality 250r. Some show. More go.

Well on your way to a nice rider,keep it up and keep us updated as well. It really doesnt take much to bent that bottom radiator outlet. I just used a pry bar while it was fully bolted in,just go slow and gentle,no big deal!

Were you the one that was telling me that a few weeks/months ago? Ill give it a try, just havent messed with it a whole lot lately.

I just tore the shocks and front arms off yesterday so when my arms show up i can use them.
I was dissapointed when my stainess braded hose showed up and all my anodized fittings and none of it fit the ports on the radiator. My fault.
I have the spectre clamps with the fitting look in anodized red/blue.. I think all of it has to be up a size or two. I may put the spectre clamps on the oem black hose i still have.

Yeah that was me,if you need the pics of how far I bent it let me know. I also had to cut the upper center tab cause it was rubbing on the steering shaft,but it looks like you have a spacer behind your mounting clamp so that shouldnt be an issue.

i cut it off with a pneumatic die grinder within minutes of taking it out of the box..

not very symetrical either are they

You can post big pics and not have to click on the little pics and here is how. I use photobucket and I open the pics I am posting and all I do is right click the pic and hit copy and then when you are on the site in your thread box after typing just right click again and paste it and its a big pic.
Nice start on your project and can't wait to see the finished bike.
