lol. He was just giving an observation. I'm sure your bike is fast jamie. Besides, where he hasn't, I have. And not just in sport quads. Amsoil is tied into most major racing sports across the world: Cross country, supercross, motocross, pike's peak, Baja, rock racing, extreme rock crawling, monster truck racing, hydro boat racing, off road truck racing, circle track racing, sprint car, IHRA drag racing, tractor pulling, snocross, engine masters challenge, american diesel challenge, top truck challenge.....well, you get my point. Their oils have always been challenged and tested through the riggers of racing. And while I do believe there are several other oils out there that are also good, I believe Amsoil to be the best IMHO.

If I remember correctly...just because you're running at 20:1 or 32:1 or whatever ratio....that doesn't necessarily mean you're running "rich". Yes it's a "rich" oil/fuel ratio, but you can be still be running lean as far as jetting is concerned. Did I read something wrong previously?

I can't believe you don't like the smell of 2-stroke mix! I smell that shit straight out of the exhaust! :ride:

Also, I run Maxima Castor 927 @ 32:1...soon to be 40:1

yeah tbone higher mix of oil like 20-1 does lean the motor down so it may be necessary to increase a jet size compared to running a 40-1 mix

I prefer running Klotz Benol for the simple reason of the red color, one time I forgot to add 927 to my alcohol, believe it not it did not burn down, but had lots of piston wear before I noticed something wasn't right. Luckly I had some fuel in the tank and only topped it off with the straight alcohol, other wise the crank would have been toast also.
After that I switched to Klotz just so I know its mixed by seeing a pinkish colored fuel going in my tank

I run Maxima Castor 927 at 28:1. God do i hate the smell of it. I like my Bell Ray MC1 a lot better.

amsoil like to shove their products in your face. hell cant even watch a effin youtube video without gettin interupted with their down your throat advertisement horseshit
