my name is Denny and I'm addicted to 250Rs, specifically the TRX. My addiction started when I was young, around the age of 7 when I got my Artic Cat mini bike with the leopard skin seat. Oh yeah, I was hooked. I'd go up and down the back alley for hours on that little Cat. I didn't want to stop and I wanted more. That's when I met "Jim". He had this new fangled contraption on the market called an "ATC" and I just had to try it. That 110cc motor was a rocketship and I had my new fix. But as time passed I needed more and more. At age 14 I bought a brand new '86 230 QuadSport and wow talk about a huge leap in sport ATV technology. The 230 turned me into a full blown addict. I rode that wave from '86 till '90, when I traded it up for an '86 QuadRacer in boxes. That old QuadRacer was a great quad and I beat the shiit out of if from 1990 till 1998. In 1998 I did something I knew was dangerous addictive and terrible on my body. I bought a Yamaha Banshee. Holy crap was I hooked. Nothing gives you a better rush then when a twin cylinder 350 is on the pipe. The Banshees are so much fun, but they're so addictive that you'll find yourself emptying your bank account faster than pffftpowersports hits the ban button. After eight long hard years riding the Banshee rush, I bought my '89 TRX250R and I kicked my Banshee habit. Iv'e been on the R for seven years now and the addiction is still strong.
tl;dr I ride an '89 R and dig it.
