Well I finally ordered a new 363 sphinx kit from Nate McCoy. I'm wondering what gearing people are running with this setup. I'm building it just for duning. Thanks. Derek.

What dunes do you ride?  If you like to play around on hills or are a heavier guy I'd drop down to a 14 tooth in the front.

I have a Sphinx from Nate as well. I run 14/38 with 22" paddles at Pismo. This is because the dunes are much smaller and tighter. Dumont and Glamis I step up to 15/36 because we run at a much faster pace.

Did you already get the motor or is he building it.

We have small dunes here. But I travel to either Idaho and sometimes Oregon coast (Florence) once a year. I am 200 lbs. I have 21" 7 paddle haulers.

Nate is sending me a cylinder and crank kit. I'll be assembling it myself. I've paid for most of it just not shipping yet. He's still waiting on some parts to arrive.

Thanks Rupp , I asked you about your setup last year and it sounded great. That's why I ordered it from Nate.
