Welcome Michaelc. I see you're from chicago area. I as well. I saw your atc500 at DGY last year in the service shop. I had them do some electrical work on My wife's street bike. I took a pic it was so nice. Sad to hear you got rid of it. We should hook up and ride sometime. We are heading up to Silver lake with a bunch of R guys from this site. July 11, 12, 13 weekend. Hit me up if your interested, or jump on the thread.

Ha spiritaces, good to see you here.Ha jesse? Im a big trike fan my self. More then the quads i think. I no what your thinking about the 500. But,when your doing a project like that, there are a lot of mods that go into the frame to get that motor to fit. And to work 100%. Even tho bolts a lock tighted? There always comming loose. The trike would alwas run hot? 220 / 230. Got after market rads, and still runs hot.It was never a bike i would take out by its self. There were allways some kind of small isue going on with it.You just get tired allways fixing things. Im re-doing the other trike now? I will be putting in a big bore motor over the winter. But,no more mods to the the frame.Like i had to do with the 500r. Dont worry,my other trike will look killer when its finished.Ha pumashine? I have seen you to around to. I allways read all your posts. Your a bundle of good info. Thanks etccb. Ha sky? Ya we should. I go up to baldwin mi every 2 weeks. Trails are off the hook. Its only 20 minns from silverlake.

Love those trails. And the keep them quite groomed. I just wish there were more single directions up there. Last year we did a 10 day up there did half silver and half Baldwin. Just need to get my oversized tank on. Hard to go for long rides in Baldwin with race gas needed. I was thinking of dropping a few cans in strategic locations so we could fill up while on the trails. Maybe we will hit it in fall.
