Would there be any advantage to having the top of the resi above the top of rad?

thanks for the info guys, looks like no easy solution as yet. Going to go no overflow bottle for now and run a higher pressure cap on the radiator, pretty sure MX bikes have no overflow so cant be too bad?

Some MX guys run the tube from the overflow and point it towards the exhaust. When it overheats, it steams on the exhaust letting you know you're too hot.

Old thread I know, but I have been toying with the idea of fabricating an upper radiator shroud, to keep air from going over the top of the radiator.  If I get around to it, I will see if a banshee reservoir will mount easily to it.  If that works it would kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
