Really looks like a 88 tank. The 86-87 had 3 screw holes on each side to mount the rubber that keeps the plastic from rubbing the tank. The 88 like this one is smooth to accept the foam adhesive. Tank looks great and the price is good also. A+

PS: All tanks will fit all years
