I'm in the process of routing wires. Having issues with were to mount the cdi. Wiring will not allow it to reach were the stock cdi mounted. I have a puma coil mount. Would be cool if could see pics of how you guys are running everything. Thanks for any help

right now it seems like the best place to put the cdi is where the stock coil mounted. Just not sure if being behind the radiator is going to cook the cdi

I  have five cr250r ignitions. All allow the CDI to be mounted where the stock one was.
Puma 408, Puma 431,  Pilot 412, Puma 431, Mini-tooth 486 Trx450r
89mm  Mini tooth Shearer in frame pipe chromed! With Cascade  Q

Have the wires been shortened? I can post some pics tomorrow.

no they have not been shortened. I think I got it figured out.
