Hi, I'm new to the 250r world been riding a 06yfz450 which I just traded for a 86 250r w/ a raw esr330 4mil stroker with 5hrs on it. All the work was done by Hybrid Engeneering. So I guess if anybody has any info they can give me on what to watch for, what kind of maintenance I should do, what kind of fuel to run and mix.

Welcome to our forum. Pete at hybrid builds some nice motors. I would check with him what fuel it is set up for. He has mine set for straight 110 race gas. He suggests using Klotz r-50 at 32:1. His phone# is in my signature.

Petes 344's run really well. Can you ask the previous owner what he had it set up to run?? Could you post a picture of your r if you got it? I'm curious if I have seen the bike around here... If you have the name of the previous owner pete will most likely be able to tell you your set-up. p.s welcome to the forums..

Thanks for the welcomes. I can post some pics tomorrow. I got this bike out of Brookings Or. The guy relied off the info from this forum to build the bike. I believe the previous owner said that it can run 50/50 but he ran Vp113. I'm trying to figure how to navigate this site.

Does anyone know how tight the big nut on the rear axle next to the brake rotor should be? I'm going over the quad and noticed it was hand tight.
