Well this r I bought has not stop leaking fluids since I bought it about a month ago and I have been pulling my hair out since trying to seal it up. Anyway the counter shaft seal was leaking so I got a new oem seal and o-ring and replaced it yesterday. I took it for a blast up and down the street once to make sure it wasn't leaking. So thismorning I took it out again just up and down the street like yesterday. Before I took it out there was no oil on the floor. I finally felt relieved that I fixed this siv of a motor but sure enough tonight I went in the garage and there is an oil spot the size of a half dollar under it

so what's next? I am trying very hard to stay confident in this new rig but it's starting to get the better of me. Fluid leaks bother me like no other. Please help

Does the counter shaft have play up and down right now? How's the spacer look all grooved up?

Spacer has alittle bit of a groove but I can't find a replacement anywhere. The shaft itself has like the tiniest bit of movement couldn't even try to give a measurement of how much it moves it is minuscule.

The shaft also has a tiny bit of in and out play. The seal was leaking a little but it just seems it got worse after I put in the new one

Are you sure it is the counter shaft seal? It is much more common for the shift shaft seal to be leaking. Take some pics of the seal to let us see what you are talking about.

Ok I'll have to do it later tonight. The counter shaft is what the sprocket is on correct? That is where the issue is. The oil is leaking right below the driverside swingarm pivot bolt. I am the oil is leaking and riding down the chain untill it hits the slider on the frame right there then drips down

Gotcha. The OEM o-ring is more of a slender flat piece that goes behind the collar. It should seal if you cleaned up the collar a little. Might be the collar is too worn to seal. Pics are best.
