Oversized radiator

I am looking in to getting an oversized radiator for a now 330 motor I just got. I know everyone says u get what you pay for but $400 is a little ridiculous to me and I can not afford that right now. I have been searching and found many posts for and against the Chinese eBay ones. My question is are they all oversized some don't state whether they are or not? And also are they of all the same quality because you see the Chinese ones range from 200-60?

i am also definitely getting an inline gauge. What is too hot for these motors?

Some people are using the Chinese radiators with good luck, I know some of them have fitment issues though. Some claim to have more capacity, not sure if that's true or not.

I would looks for a good used AFCO, Walsh, CBR, or PWR radiator. There are other manufacturers out there but those are the ones off the top of my head

Where the radiator is made or who made the radiator has nothing to do with its ability to dissipate heat into the air flowing through it.  How it is made and the materials used has a huge influence on the reliability.  (to resist leaking and or the mounting brackets do not fail)

It is unfortunate that the radiator (heat exchanger) manufactures that supply our industry, do not publish specifications on their products so that we could compare their radiators ability to transfer heat to other brands of radiators.  Our industry supplies us with useless information like has "more coolant capacity", "Tanks that are highly polished",  "billet cap flange", etc which has nothing to do with the radiators ability to cool the engine.

The core design, size of the tubes, tube spacing, coolant and air flow rate, and the finning between the tubes is what influences a cores ability to dissipate heat.  Some core designs are more efficient than others but the frontal area of the 1st row in the core is probably one of the most important specifications when comparing heat exchangers.
