A lot of guys have always asked this question and the real answer is always the same. YES......and a helmet. Of those that choose not to most of them don't really want to hear your opinion if it is not what they want to hear. Please guys wear the basics. After a short time you get use to it and it becomes like putting oil in your 2 stroke fuel, you wont want to ride without it.

There is also some photos in that thread of some wicked boot on damage but imagine how much worse it can get by looking at the first photos. Man this is some nasty stuff.

My helmet broke  my collar bone 2 different  accidents 10years apart. No more helmet no more problems. And yes wear  boots  and gloves. Main goal do not crash !. I  do on occasion  wear a helmet  if attempting  something  stupid...... but the older i get the lessstupid i do !
