This is the stock cylinder that came with the 89 I bought which currently has a ESR 310. Can anyone tell me if this is ported or not? Only reason I ask is I'm planning on having this cylinder set up so I have a back up. Thanks.

That's what I figured Martin, thanks for the quick reply. Pine Lake looked like a blast, I wish I still lived up there I would have been there for sure.

no real porter would leave factory cast imperfection's.
It has been worked on but probably would not run any better than stock.

Like Tony said, it does look like some areas have been touched, but very little has been done.
A complete stock cylinder, there would be imperfections between the aluminum casting & the iron sleeve, but looks to be those areas have been smooth out, blended together.

Lot of people would probably be amazed, at how an engine would perform just by changing the port windows, changing the port timing & not touching anything else in the cylinder, but most cylinder porters cant just stop there its all or nothing.
Porting cylinders, is a form of art to me, something I leave my mark on for people to remember me by.
