Picked up a lone star axle. The seal surface on the sprocket hub was grooved. So decided to see if I could fix it. This is what I started with.

This is the speedi sleeve from Napa I used.

This is the end result.

The sleeve has a flange on it for install. Had to remove the flange to get it on the last little bit. Hope this might help someone.

Yup thats one way or ya can put in a lathe an cut it down an use the replacement sleeve rpm sells . Its alot thicker then a speedi sleeve

Just figured I would give it a shot. I did not want to take it to a lathe. Just an option for people.

Third option would be build it up with weld and re turn the piece as well.

Only problem with that is you are still using the soft aluminum for sealing surface

The aluminum would be even softer after welding
