John, did you have a design in mind? Its easy to make parts. The hard part is building something that works, is popular and does not cost a fortune to build.

i was thinking something you could cut out of aluminum or stainless like many of your parts.  maybe use spacers and longer bolts.  obviously be round.  let me find pics of something that will inspire.  troy is an excellent designer, im sure he will help.

Hmmm I like that front sprocket guard. Possibly make one that replaces the washer/bolt setup.

John, you mean something like these?? :) obviously these are on my 450. And I don't have a stock frame to test them on...but if pumashine is willing. I would send these to him for reproduction. This set I've had on that quad for 5 years and their just starting to wear.

I believe we want to stay with aluminum. The UHMW is light and I cut this stuff for hours on the waterjet. The plated steel ones might look stronger but I think the point is to just keep junk from derailing the chain. That aluminum front one is real cute. In real life on a 250r its going to be much larger. It is much more economical to build than the wing design we all have by Honda.

you got the idea puma.  i love UHMW its light and durable.  aluminum is also a great idea.  i am just so brutal on parts, as im sure we all are and i hate paying hundreds for something i will break and need to replace for a reasonable price.  plus, i hate standard swingarm skids.  they always get hung up and rip bolts from the machine.
