Elka, JD Performance suspension setup

$800 Red 88 pictured shows ride height.

I've owned these since new, purchased through JD Performance around 2003. The setup runs very, very well for fast trail riding. The low center of gravity makes steering and balance very precise. I have ridden this suspension very fast with very little effort, and high confidence. I am selling to upgrade to Roll/Axis to have all my R's require the same tools and maintenance procedures.

The rear is a stock 88-9 shock valved, and converted to zero-preload by Elka, matched to the front, also zero-preload. Shocks are setup for 180lb rider for an 88-9 swingarm and the +2 JD arms. All three shocks need to be serviced. Included are the rebuild kits for the front, both shock body and reservoirs. The rear shock will need a new seal head. All three are set to 150psi nitrogen. The rear shock does not come with the upper pivot bearing, or seals. All three can run as-is, but are each weeping some oil, so service is recommended.

The JD arms have JD roller bearing pivots. One tie rod is stainless, the other zinc coated steel, both made by JD. The upper is chrome, and the bottom is 88-9 fighting red. Ball joints are all in good condition - no slop, binding or boot tears.

Payment by check, money order, etc. No paypal, zelle, digital transaction. I know this is different, but is ultimately less headache. Thanks for understanding.
