I have a 89 stock frame, with a Pro-X 330, I want to replace my stock radiator, MX style riding in the Northeast. What Radiator would you guys recommend? Any modifications needed to mount it? Any pics?

I'm looking for specific brand recommendations and pics on a stock frame if possible. Also, want to know if it will be a direct bolt on or if any mods are needed.

PWR / CBR are stock fit in terms of mounting.  While the fluid inlets & outlets are in the same position they stick straight out rather than bending 90* like the stock radiator.  I believe the Afco has the inlet and outlet on the same side (left side as sitting on the R).

Here's a pic of the CBR radiator mounted.  I believe it is the same as PWR - can someone confirm?

And before anyone asks - yes it's sitting on top of the master bathroom bathtub - it didn't get completed before I took off for Miami so it's staying cozy indoors.

Straight out is 88-89 style while 86-87 has the 90° inlets and out lets, which is just fine. The Afco does have inlet and outlets on the same side (left), and also requires AN fittings for the hoses. As for fittting in stock mounts, yes. If you want a drop in and go, I would use the Pwr like the one havinnoj used. The chinese ones are the same size as oem, and require some minor mods to fit correctly.

Some good info here. If you want just a stock replacement, you can go with one of the cheap Chinese aftermarket radiators. I have and run one myself. But if you are wanting something that has the capacity to cool better than stock, then go with PWR,Afco, or CBR. They all will mount up the same. Sounds like the AFCO is the only one that would require hose mods in order to use it, while the other two are drop in and go.
