Where can I find one of these?

I would like to find a fuel pickup screen like this one from a cr500 petcock it's nice and compact
The only problem is they don't sell the filter screen separately you have to buy the whole petcock. I'm guessing it's glued in but I was hoping there was another model or some other screen out there that would work. Anyone know of one?

I'd like to know as well.  That and I'd like to know why all of the sudden my carb leaked all of the fuel sporadically.  I'm assuming it's my float but it's not cool loosing my fuel.  At least the petcock works!  This petcock looks awesome and I'm needing to get something like that for my tank build.

Yeah I think all the early 90s Honda dirt bikes probly used the same one.  Go on motosport there only $30 new! They will bolt right up. Only reason I don't want to use one is cause it will be way up under the tank. It will work fine though.

That filter, looks like the in tank line filters for string trimmers & chain saws. Goes on the end of the gas hose inside the tank.

I'll look into these. I got rid of the brass tube in the stock pickup and opened it up a little bit then modified the petcock so it will flow from both hoses. With this done the long pickup screen is kind of overkill.

I'm just going to use the petcock for my tank build when I complete it.  It'll have a sump that hangs flush with the frame so it won't be bad.  Besides, you only mess with it when you start and stop riding.

Cool. It's a nice and simple petcock should work perfect for you. I was gonna run one on my stock tank to eliminate some spots where you could get a leak and lighten it up but I worried about the head transferring to much heat to it.  What are the details on this tank your gonna build?

Allison, this tank I'm building is in my tank build thread. It's all steel, a little over a gallon more than stock and it'll have a sump built in. I haven't messed with it for a while. I did buy one of these petcocks for $11 shipped so I can use it. Until I get the tank built ill just be using my Clarke with stock petcock.

Sump isn't built and obviously the other parts aren't either.
