My custom made rear shock resi holder
Made this for my 87r. I did not like the look of hose clamps with the OEM bracket for the rear resi. I removed the OEM bracket from my frame. I drilled and taped to mounting blocks all the way through before welding them to the frame. and i had a machine shop make these aluminum brackets for me. I drafted them on a sheat of paper the mounts cost my $ 60. After i got the brackets back i decided to drill through them in a uniform patern to bling it a little.
The inner diamiter is 1/4 wider than the resi body. I am using rubber strips around the resi to clamp to. The rubber strips are actually drive belts for vaccume cleaners. The resi body and clamps are out being polished.
