There has been tests done on this. Not just with airbox vs no box. But length and size of filter. There is a reason why you see some long skinny filters on drag bikes.

And no I am not a Engineer in Fluid Dynamics but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.:eagerness:

i was referring to the deleted airboot. the intake tube serves a purpose beyond room for an airbox.

Just go with something that is gonna make you comfortable
Personally I run the Esr setup ,I dune and drag ,just make sure everything stays tight
