So I bought a set of brake lines at some point in the last year.  Forgot the brand but the pics of the spliter for lack of a better term is bellow... my question to everyone with this type of splitter is how did you mount it to the frame? I tried real quick to use just one of the mounting holes for the stock brake line set up but it is so close to the frame that the left brake line would have to go over the frame and the right would go under the frame or vice vrs.. makes for some ugly brake line routing... so what's every o e do with this style of lines, making a bracket that raises the splitter above or below the frame slightly??? Inspire me to make something with some pics if you have encountered this.. can't have brake lines routed

Ahhh you too my man?? Lol im in the same boat as you. I had stock length a arms then bought +2's and was told they would still work. Well they fit just like yours and what im gona do is make a small metal plate with the two frame bolt holes drilled out then attach that to the frame and also drill out the holes for the brake line splitter then secure with bolt and nut. Simple as that. Can but the thin metal at home depot. Ill post pics when i go at it. May be a while though

I had the same problem with my Tusk extended brake lines.. I just used some zip ties that were the same color as the frame and tied them to that cross bar on the front side and routed the lines high on the frame and out to the calipers.. Also used some aftermarket brake line holders that mount to the A-arms to make it look better

I had the same issue. I made a "L" bracket that bolted to the frame in the original holes then the splitter is bolted the the bracket I made. I made it above the frame rail.

If I can get my hands on the brake line parts I would just make my own lines. I would keep the original stock splitter and just make the lines out to the clipers.I like the idea of keeping the stock hard lines.

I did this ^^^^. I had the same problem on my 86 frame. It doesn't seem to be an issue on my 88.
