Hi everyone I'm new here. I have a 88 trx250r I'm strongly considering a brand new esr 310 kit (310 kit 6) with the trx9 center mount exhaust. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Well howdy and welcome! What kind of riding do you do? The 9 is a great top end pipe and a ton of fun, it just feels like the top end never ends!
I ride PINNED! Therefore, no bdt in this household.

I'm assuming you visit the dunes often because you're in Michigan? I nice mid-top ported ESR kit and a similar pipe to go along with it would be a great upgrade

Make sure you get the 9 port on the cyl as well. That sounds like a very fun ride....pinned

Very true! I have the 330 +4 with the 9b pipe trx9 port. Great mid to top end.

I ride dunes, trails, and I used to do a lot mx on dirt bikes. My brother in law has a banshee that he re built last year and we want to get the 250r comparable to it. I have done a lot of home work and I was thinking the trx9 bc wanted something more mid range. All my previous toys were built more for low end

That 310 kit I'm considering seems to be a pretty good price for everything it comes with plus you get the matching port. I started looking at building it piece by piece but I would spend more

The port match 9 is as cast matched up to the 9 sleave. I would try to fit that + $100.00 trx9 port into the budget if you can.

Call eddie himself. He might work with you. He gave me a steal on my cylinder I got off him and trx9 hand port

You may want to look into the trx5 pipe too.
