Couldn't agree more. If an item sells, remove the picture, remove the part. Super frustrating to look at
Xxx-sold
***-sold

I am not sure if the op wants a pat on the back for selling parts, or just tease all the people who didn't get to buy it. Takes just as much time to delete as to type.

My giving my 2 cents, and I am sure I'll get change back.
You always get change my friend.  Always!  But I totally agree.  It is funny reading about an entire engine package or suspension setup in full detail only to see sold after.
I at least give exact change.

Would be nice to delete it if it's sold. Just muddies up the post and makes it harder for potential buyers to figure out what is still there.

Thanks for the change.:o

Marking individual items "Sold" is good.  And when all items are sold, marking the thread title with a "Sold" prefix is a great solution.  I personally like finding old FS threads to help determine value and such.  But to each their own.

My thoughts exactly. I would definitely not be in favor of deleting the entire thread

Thread prefixes have now been added to the classified sections.  Note that they are now REQUIRED.

Allowable entries for For Sale section ads are:
  • FS
  • FT
  • FS / FT
  • SOLD

Allow entries for Want to Buy section ads are:
  • WTB
  • WTB / WTT
  • Found

Questions:
  • Are the "FS / FT" and "WTB / WTT" redundant (i.e. are they needed)?
  • Thoughts on "Found" vs "Fulfilled" vs "Complete" vs ??? for the Want to Buy prefix?
  • eBay & Craigslist threads will be omitted from prefix requirement.  Anybody have an issue with this?

Feel free to review and give feedback.

So these prefixes are only available on new threads?

Yes and any existing thread that a user chooses to edit.
