Three different tracks are racing this weekend. Hoosier Hilltoppers in IN, Daniel Boone MX in KY and I40 MX in TN. Also the High Point atv national is in PA. Probably be going to one of them. Don't forget to check out RacerTV.com Saturday for the live broadcast from 2:30-5:30.

Ryan- If you see this how has the weather been down that way? I see Lenoir City has been getting rain yesterday and today so far.

Hey Zcarlson, I didn't realize you were close enough to hear about or go to the I40 mx races. That sounds strangely familiar though, maybe we have talked about it before. Anyway, the weather has been a bit ugly here in this area. We got a good ran last night through this morning. It has tapered off for now. I am supposed to be racing this weekend and Chattanooga MX as part of the SE Quad series, but not sure how that is gonna go. That track usually doesn't shed water very well. I am commited to the sequad series as I am racing for the year end point, otherwise I would join you in Lenoir City if you were going. I will be hitting up some of their races though when I'm not racing in our series. I have chatted up I40 mx quite a bit, and now have several from our series racing up there in between series races and nationals. Where are you located out of?

I want to race mx pretty badly, do they require a chest protector?
I ride PINNED! Therefore, no bdt in this household.

No they don't. But me personally, if I crash, I want as much between me and everything else around me as possible. Plus, if you get roosted by someone in front of you and they happen to throw a rock, you'll be glad you had a chest protector on. They also have ones now that go under the jersey. That will be the next kind I get.

I just rode on my first Mx track last night, was my buddies.  So much fun, but got worn out fast. The track is torn up by dirt bikes and only big doubles, so I had to roll over most the jumps.  Plan on riding at a few local tracks in the next few months.  I'll get some video

I'm up in Lexington so it's about 2.5 hours to I40. The track looks cool and it sounds like they made some new changes to the track. I saw that SE Quad series but a lot of those tracks are pretty far for me. I plan on going out to I40 a couple times this year, I'm a big fan of the night races. Gotta button everything up tomorrow after work, I had to take the motor out to fix a broken motor mount. If all goes according to plan I'll be heading out there. Good luck in Chattanooga!

Pinned- I second what Ryan said. I wear the under the jersey one but sometimes I just wear it over my jersey. Well worth the investment for racing as well as at a practice track when one of those 450 dirtbikes go by.

PNW- Please do!
