Put in a brand new B8EG plug and she runs like a raped ape, I probably fouled the BR9EIX. She runs much better now.

Traveling to my property down south this weekend. I can open her up on the country gravel roads so i'll get some plug chops in to fine tune it even better.

I almost clipped a tree in my backyard when my front end came up unexpectedly lol

update please

Wow, that's a lot of power unleashed at the wrong time time I am guesting. I am feeling your pain. I blew 2nd gear trying to launch in 2nd on the hill shoot.

Is that a 2nd gear launch failure or bearing failure ... That pic made my stomach turn ...

So what was your solution to this? I'm beginning to think that these things just weren't made to handle this type of power reliably.

Or maybe the LED gears would solve my problems, I probably should have put those gears in beforehand.

This really has me thinking about getting a modern 4-stroke, specifically a Laeger hybrid. Maybe I just need to cool down for a bit

I ran a full MX season on my stock trans without that issue.  I dont think its to much power for it.  But Arlan's gears would be a good upgrade.

That does suck! The damage is done. Time to regroup and plan your next move. Stock gears were never designed, for the power we are putting in the motors. Maybe that gear, had some pre-existing issues.

You spend months doing a rebuild paying attention to every fine detail. Hours of planning and time spent to make sure every little thing is done right. Then BAM its all over in a few minutes. I know how you feel. But remember its happened to most of us at least once. I have fried many pistons, blown at least one tranny with hole in case, tore the sprocket hub off breaking the cases with the chain, and the last tins coming off and ruining the bottom end. But hell, you gotta love doing it!!! Just keeps you sane.
