The coc PM'ed on the other site trying to me tell that the saber I'm going to buy is a old casting that can't be tuned right, only the new *** casting can be tuned to run right and that a full drag port on a single wont run right at 7000 feet. Yet I have a couple of friend with lt 500's drag ported, drag pipe on race gas that run flawless up here.

He is full of shit

I guess CP Industries did not know what they were doing until came along.

You should see the rest of his pm it's such a joke. He must be having a hard time selling these new "better" sabers. With Calvin(RIP) having passed I don't see how these are supposed to be so much better. Anyone know who's doing the new castings for CPI.

Calvin never made the molds for the small bore Saber. My builder had been asking him for 4 years up until the end about getting the small bore castings made. The saber mold was made with drag port timing. claims they are building new molds just for him. Seems to me he will have to purchase 20 of these cylinder before the molds are built.

That what I thought, thanks for the info pumashine.  When I heard he was the only place to get one my heart was broke, I always wanted a saber but will go with that builder again. I got luckily and got one Pete built.

Whats funny is the fact that Carlos makes it seem like you have to have him build your Saber. The deal he hit with CP Industries says he has to sell them to any of CP Industries dealers. So BDT DOES NOT have to build your Saber. They must sell it to your builder!!!!!!!!!!!
Just gotta tell Carlos

was never on a dyno under Roger's ownership. It went 4.3's in the heavy sand at Dunefest a few years ago. I have video of it running in a rigid DMR chassis
