I stand corrected. My jetting was 52 pilot DGH with 192 main. The 195 was a hair rich. But when your climbing the big dunes you had better be fat on the main. Back in the day I had a CT tip sheet that gave all jetting with different pipes. I believe it said to use the 192 for the big pipes

Wasn't trying to correct you Sir..  Just figured I would post up what my setup seemed to agree with. Hope you didn't take it that way..

Just the opposite, I don't want Pat using a main jet that will toast his piston. Some think a 182 is fat.... not even close. 190 is in the ball park but it has more to do with elevation. A 195 is needed if you ride like Pinned. But you can get away with a 192 if you blip the throttle alot!

hell yea guys this is great info!! thank you all for the suggestions!! i will use them all. also tony i installed that flywheel on yesterday. i started up the bike and while it was warming up started reving super fast so i shut it down. i think the base gasket blew. i have an air leak there. thats just my guess it seems like the gasket is all tore up. idk how since this is the area right under the pipe. nothing touches that area. im gona do a leak down test and replace that gasket. i have another one here. i may just leave the top end off since my 350 is coming next week.. woooohooooooo. hope your ready to ride tony!! is your family gona end up coming?? the more the better

Pat got his 350 Friday morning and then drove to Windy Bay. Got him some o-rings by 10:30 Saturday as they had been misplaced a couple months ago.  I can't believe you converted a stock sleeve spacer plate into a clearance for 350 sleeve by hand with a round file. Things that happen in the parking lot are always last resorts. When your 9 hours from home on the weekend ya gotta do what ya gotta do. If you were staying for the week I would have run back to the shop and get you a spacer plate and the collar that goes behind the front sprocket. I would also get my t-handle Allen wrenches and pull this smart carb apart to get it going again. That would have taken over 3 hours. Great to meet you Pat and would have been nice to do some group riding. We will catch ya next time.

yea would be awesome if we could have met up. wish my bike was working better for me. it was just problem after problem man. was so agravated!! the hand file on the spacer sure did take a lil bit and alot of work. did everything i could to get the bike to run. finally it was just getting way to hot i just shut her down. take it back to the garage and try it again tomorrow. when it was running though i could really feel the power and i was happy with what ive gotten so far. thanks for all of your help tony your an awesome guy!! i may need another spacer plate for the 350. would you happen to have one i could buy from ya. i can also paypal you some
more money on top of that for hooking me up with so many parts. got orings and gaskets on the way so should be good on that stuff..

Chainsaw file is good for more than just sharpening chains!  :D  I've used one more than a few times to make something work.

Glad to hear you like your 350 so far.... I'm guessing you had to run the spacer because you have the long rod setup???

Looking forward to hearing how you like it once you get it all dialed in and running good!

Wish I had been at home so I could have known about this, I might could have helped, sorry I wasnt.

Tonys right, sometime you got to do what you got to do.

Was a race a few years back at a national TT event, like normal for some, rider ended up the last minute getting his 4 poker engine put together & wouldnt you know it, NO valve reliefs in the top of that new piston, guess what he did.
Did what he had to do & some were walking past with looks on their face & mumbling under their breath watching him, that lasted until the checkers dropped & he waxed a bunch of their tails coming in 3rd in the Pro class & making the podioum pics. So, what ever it takes to get the job done, sometimes thats what you got to do.

lol.. yea i was out there doin all kinds of stuff to get this thing running.. this is i used the wrong sized spacer. if i would used the 5mm spacer i would have been good. i figured since there was a small lip in the dome for the head to sit in that the piston being so minimal above the deck of the cylinder it would work....... wroooong!! lol. ill figure it out though i catch on really quick. learning alot as i go. thanks for everybody's help!!
