Hello, my name is Matt and I am from Ira Michigan. I used to race the R 20yrs ago and eventually gave it up when the whole marriage thing happened. Since then there hasn't been a day that passes that I wouldn't rather do anything else then be back on the track. So now the good part. My 13yr old son has been riding a TGB90 since his 4th birthday and comes to me one day and says "dad, can we look for a new quad? All the kids on our street have faster quads then me". So the wife and I discuss his dilemma and she agrees it's time for him to move up. She then asks "what kind of quad he should buy?". I told her there is only one quad to buy, the holy grail, the quad of all quads, the best quad known to man, the 250R! She then stopped me in my tracks and said "There is no way I'm going to let my 90# 13yr old ride the same quad you use to race as an adult!'. That's when the arguments started and I told her "there is no way I will let my son ride anything but an R". To make it short, I ended winning, he saved his money over the past year, ended up buying an 86' and that's why I'm here. Now that I have been out of it for 20yrs I have forgotten a lot and I'm sure they have come up with a ton of new stuff. I am very excited to be here and look forward to soaking up the knowledge of all the members. I know that was long and painful but thanks for having me!
Matt
