Been wanting to get a 250r for a few years but always 4 strokes. Got some money laying around and again so I wanna try and get one. I would ride it along some trails and I would like to get into a little racing. Found two that seem pretty nice in my area and was curious what everyone thinks about them?

First one is 86

+2 a arms
rocket ron triple rate 450r front shocks
aluminum -1 swingarm
reworked oem rear shock
durablue xc axle and billet carrier
pep steering stabilizer
4 beadlock wheels new front gbc xc and rear holeshot xc 70%
motofast ported oem cylinder fresh 66.75 bore (runs very strong)
cool head 21cc dome and thin head gasket (i mix 50/50 110 and 93
Curtis sparks mx pipe dmc silencer
39pwk airstriker carb
esr engine cases less than 1 year old
hotrods crank and all new bearings in bottom end
new cycra probend hand guards
alba nerfs
new aluminum radiator

bike has been well maintained and every part is powdercoated. tore it down last winter and had frame coated and freshened everything up. call or text with questions
very nice trx 250r built for xc trade for nice 450 quad only.

Here's the second one

88 250R with bills pipe and MF silencer, laeger +2 a-arms, laeger steering stem, lone star handle bar clamp, works shocks on front, +2+4durablue axle, k&n air filter, wiring harness in good shape, has wiring available for headlight. Aftermarket grab bar and bumper. Cylinder is stock bore. Bike starts on 1st or 2nd kick, good woods bike. No cracks in frame. $2300.00

The black 88 doesn't have an 88 cylinder on it. I see no spacer plate so it's either an 87 cylinder or an 86 cylinder with an 87-89 piston. 88 cylinders don't have casting lines on the top of the raised coolant passage area above the cylinder drain plug.

I like the blue one, and then sell me those rims! Honestly they both seems pretty race ready suspension wise, but the blue one seems all around better.

The black one has a 85/86 cases also. It also has a gusset welded on the subframe near the seat latch. The blue one looks better especially the suspension.
