Now that the paint is dry a reversible drill is what you use to chase all the painted threads on your newly painted frame. Otherwise it takes forever to take the tap out by hand.

Tony I couldn't figure out how to pm you on my phone. But do you do any frame mods/ rapairs for ppl? My frame needs your gusset kit & repairs to the subframe. Let me know please

If you are local we can work that out. Most the time frames are over a $100 to ship each way. I am doing the 87 gusset kit tomorrow. Then the next is the swingarm inserts for oblong holed frames

Yeah I am local. I'm in McMinnville. Its a 87 frame, I'll post a pic tomorrow of where my post for seat gromets sheared off. I could actually drop it off to you on my way down to reedsport not this week but next.

I have made replacements for when these mounts get crashed. If its only the tube part  mashed up we may be able to just run a 1.2 round rod from one mount to the other. I have seen this fix before.
