ESR Thumb Throttle cover
« on: September 11, 2014, 08:53:34 PM »
I just got one of ESR's new thumb throttle covers.  Looks great, but I have a problem... not sure if anyone else has tried one yet.  The thumb throttle body has a pin that sticks up to align the cover, with the cover having a hole in it to accomidate the pin.  Problem is, the ESR cover has no alignment hole for the pin.  What has everyone else done, just cut of the pin flush on the thumb throttle body?

I filed the pin off on my thumb throttle and it works fine. I guess you could drill out the cover with a drill bit that is just a hair bigger than the line up pin too, more precision is required tho.
