New trike project

Here are a few teaser pics of my first trike, a nice original barn find.  Right now I know I'm missing an exhaust and a new air filter might be a good idea!

That's a nice find. Did it come with all those spare parts? The calfab swinger is sweet!

Came with all the parts you see and maybe a few you don't.  Plan is tastefully done budget resto-mod.  I have a stock engine on the bench to put in it for now, just want to start with cleaning it up and getting it running.  Check out the +9 custom made swing arm in the parts picture...that will be going on there in the future at least to try it!!

Got things cleaned up a bit and assessed problems...carrier bearings are shot and rear caliper is frozen...rear master will probably need to be rebuilt as well.  There is some chain rash on the otherwise very nice cal fab...wondering if I should have it professionally repaired?

An original idiot warning sticker!

A  bit of carnage...any suggestions on how I should deal with this are welcome!

I used existing holes from the previous owners (missing) chain slide to mount my new custom made version.  It will serve it's purpose until I decide what to do with this Calfab.

After heating the boot up with a hair dryer and getting my wife and both my dogs to help I got the 40mm pwk onto the stock air boot!

New freshly oiled uni filter installed

Picked up a new set of vforce 3 reeds...it turns out the stuffer inside the reeds needed to be matched to the 38mm Upp intake boot.  You can see scribe lines, it was quite a difference.

A close up pic of my chain slider

Out with the old, in with the new...not much left of those chain rollers! Both replaced with tm designworks rollers.  Followed that up with a new chain.

Reeds and everything installed, waiting on my exhaust!

New (used) Paul Turner high rev exhaust installed, just waiting on the sealant to dry now!!
