I raced the local fair race yesterday on the 250 that I built for my girlfriend. It was a very radical little track and it beat me up pretty bad the whole time as I expected but I had fun! It feels good to be back out on the track. I'm gonna get my race quad finished up and hit it hard next year!

Cool deal. Welcome to .org. Look forward to hearing more race report. Yeah, if your not conditioning or technically, training for the mx track, it can be brutal. My first race this year was an eye opener. 10 min @ WFO for each moto will wear you out real good! lol

Yeah it definitely wore me out and I'm in pretty good shape. The place I was having the most trouble was the whoop section. I would slide back, hit it hard and by the time i made it to the other end I was lucky to still be hanging on. lol they were just too deep and there wasn't enough room to get a good run.  There wasn't a single jump there that you could roll over without getting high centered on the peak and by the time you landed you were in the corner.  The stock rear suspension was bucking me around pretty good! This quad is great for woods type riding but would need a lot of work for me to be comfortable with it on a super cross track.

I only got video of practice :/ I haven't uploaded anything from it to the computer yet just watched it on the tv so I'll have to see if I can figure it out.

Fair races are a fun place to represent on a 2-stroke.

I don't think I'm gonna do any more fair races this year. Maybe I'll run one next year when I have my quad done and if the same guy on the ltr is running the series. He came over before the race and was very cocky and acted like my old 250R wouldn't have a chance. I couldn't really hang with them on this quad but i think it will be a different story next year. I thought about trying out sebawaing this year but I will probably only do it if I can find some 18 inch tires and get the suspension setup a little better.
