Hello everyone,new to the TRX 250R family

Long story short,
So about 2 months ago,I picked up the bike Ive been wanting for 20ish years..A 1991 KX500 then a 1993 KX500 basket case..After going through the 1991 and rebuilding the engine from top to bottom on top of fixing a bunch of other issues due to the past owner (17 year old kid running it into the ground) that really screwed me,I found out really fast that I couldn't ride it as its not at all a easy bike to kick over..I have spinal fusion in my neck/lower back so had no choice but to give up both sooo,I traded them both for a 1988 Honda TRX 250R for my wife so she can upgrade from her Yamaha Blaster..Shes just learning and doing good on taking off,just started shifting from 1st to 2nd..The 250R needs some love and has a idling issue so once I get that squared away,plan is to sell the Blaster and find me either a CR/YZ/KX 125 or 250 but I have to get the 250R going first..Getting late so i'll make a help thread with a bunch of questions in the correct section tomorrow after I look everything over on the TRX 250R good one more time..Just got it today and was getting dark out so really didn't have time but she does run and shifts through all gears...Heres 2 pics and i'll get a bunch more tomorrow during the day..
BTW,
I looked through the sections and this is a super nice site..Really big too so I can do alot of reading,searching,checking out pics of everyones 250R's and watching some videos..I love talking videos so once its done,i'll have alot coming in :ride: ...TY everyone and I hope to make lots of friends here
