Reconditioning oem seat covers?

Have any of you reconditioned old stiff seat covers to make them pliable again? If so what chemicals were used to make it happen? Thanks.

http://www.semproducts.com/refinish-flexible-coatings/color-coattm-aerosols  .worked on faded boat seats. now if the seat is brittle i dunno if can brought back
