I just picked up an old 88 Paul Turner Maximum Overdrive National Cylinder that is at 69mm, but there is a nice ding in the bottom of the sleeve by the transfer port. Looks like a wrist pin might have got into it. One of the intake bridge's are cracked at the top also.

Has anyone had a cylinder with this porting and would it be worth resleeving?

If one of the intake bridges is cracked I wouldn't even bother with it, who knows what could happen if that crack got worse.

For the money you spent re-sleeving and fixing that crack you could have a brand new ESR 310 cylinder

Call Duncan Racing and get a hold of Loren and ask him about the cylinder since he is the one that does the work on these .

the maximum overdrive is something i never seen. anyone have any details?

In all my years, dont think I've ever heard of a cracked bridge coming out of place & killing the engine. Be my luck though to say ok run it & that crazy piece come out.
Theres a mod can be done for that cracked bridge, but, only if that intake area at the top of the bridges not been widened to much. Your already using the 85/86 piston to be at that bore size, so the mod will be an easy task.
That little ding on the sleeve, like mentioned, let it ride.
You can take the cylinder all the way up to a 70.00mm YZ piston if you want. Will just need the thinner 2.5mm spacer plate instead of the 3.0mm on it now.

I have seen those cracked bridges removed and massaged so they looked like they never came with bridges!
And still performed well just like those 85 and 86 cylinders!!!
