Bike looks sweet! It reminds me of my buddy's all white JD 280 from back in the early 90's. Everybody called it the ghost bike. Your's is a lot cooler than his was though.

here is the upp intake for big carbs. going to be honest, i dont like it. it is actually too big for a 39mm keihin. also it seems the mold was messed up or something, because one side of the intake where the carb clamps in is very thin, and the other side is plenty thick. the material is very elastic-y and i yanked on it pretty hard with the carb in the boot and it didnt rip though so i am not too worried about it ripping, just seems like a sub-par quality. also since it is so big, and the material is very slick, i cannot just loosen the clamp slightly and rotate the carb to change main jet, as even the slightest loosening of the clamp and the carb pops out. hope it dont pop out while im riding, i will definitely be taking the stock one with to the sandbox first time out. here is a pic, also got some nice new vent lines.

nelson precision machining crf rear brake reservior cap. since it mounts backwards on the trx the logo is pointing the wrong direction but it is still nice looking, what do ya think Trx250r?

cranked up gear 89 style decals in orange, and my seat sewn up nice

my apologies for crappy phone pics it was raining when i took them. how does the orange decals look? they seem almost red to me but the wife says the look plenty orange. i am color blind a bit.
all in all i am pretty happy with how it turned out. she is done for now, i will get some pics in the sand when i get out there in a month or so. :)

Looks bitchen with the graphics, good choice........ No need to rotate the carb to change jets, just use a 1/4" ratchet to break the jet loose than spin the jet out with the socket by hand.

The last UPP big manifold I bought was the exact same way. Quality is piss poor. Thin on one side thick on the other. And yes, slick. I have a engine on the bench. It also has a big UPP manifold. Much better quality but the thing fell apart when I touched it. As if it dried out so much it just crublmed.

Did your wife sew that seat cover? If so I apploud her. Looks good! Is npm making covers for the crf master or was that a one off piece? You and higgy use those masters. I think I'll soon to follow. I dislike the rear master resi floating around.

i may just squeeze it back in the stock manifold, i havent decided yet. ill leave it to see if it pops out while im riding.
nah my wife refused when i bitched about her first attempt that i would bitch about every little thing and wouldnt be happy no matter what, so i sent it to sandy at cosmic quads she did a great job.
yes NPM stocks the crf master cover, nice piece to round out the build as i think that was the only last thing that wasnt new or replaced with something shiny lol. that is the main reason i switched, less is more clean look :)

just got back from the sand, bike ran great. weather couldnt have been nicer and was nice and leisurely for a change, only me and the wife went instead of a huge group. trip got cut short, when my wife was stomping on her shifter and broke the linkage LOL. heres some pics.

heres a 250r i found in the parking lot, pretty good looking. it is a esr 350 cyl and +4 stroke with esr 5b pipe.

That's too bad. I am running UPP slides, guides and rollers on my R and Banshee. Still working good and I have 3-4 hard seasons on them
