Went riding yesterday at a new park in eastern kentucky. The place is called rush off road park. It has a lot of nice hill climbs and wide open fast trails. With in a half hour of riding I realized my gearing that I have ran for the tight stuff I normally ride in was way to short. Next time I got I'll be going a little taller. I'm running 12/39 think ill try 13/39 next time. Also had one of the scariest things happen. Had a little issue an got towed out well I was riding my brakes to keep from hitting the guy in front of me. That over heated my brakes. I got the bike fired before the parking lot so decided to ride te rest of the way out. I was going up a nice hill crest the top and down a very long steep hill with a 90 degree turn at the bottom. And that's we're I saw my life flash before my eyes lol. No brakes at all!! Came down that hill so fast down shifting did little to slow me down. I took the corner at the bottom leaning so far off the bike. My cousin was so confused. He thought I did it all on purpose. He said you picked a bad spot to be goofing off. Then he must have saw my eyes. Because he then said did your breaks go out. Fun times on a R. Long story but figured some one may find this interesting.
