to get my stuff stolen!

sometime between last Sunday night and Monday morning someone broke into my 2006 GMC. They popped up my extra cab passenger side window, crawled inside ripped open my dash pulled out my double din DVD player the interface boxes for the deck, stole my Zune. my brand new Droid HD Maxx phone that I just happen to forget in the truck.dude also stole my hundred dollar sunglasses he even went through my center Council and stole a brand new pack of gum my And Cologne.

he brought his own screw driver to pry out my window. what really sucks is to do the rest of what he did he used my tools that was under the back seat.

it took me awhile to save up to install that deck. my kids watch DVDs While we run around and do errands on the weekends. some other stuff that got stolen were gifts from other people. I feel bad about losing those things. not a great year for me or my truck.

I swear this whole year I have had a rain cloud over my head.

in January I crashed my truck bad enough that I twisted the frame.a week later I broke my wrist. And still I don't have full movement of it.my insurance premium went up because of that crash so I don't really want to do another insurance claim. I think I'm just going to pay for it out of pocket.

the thief was smart and know how to get into this type of truck I have. He pried open an extra cab glass. The factory alarm was on. However it only works if you open the doors. So the guy open in the window crawled in took what he wanted and went out the same window never even touched the doors.

the deck I bought used of Craigslist for 300. I bought both the interface boxes for $100.a local body shop quoted me 370 dollarsto repair the extra cab door.local glass shop quoted me $70 to reinstall my original window but they would seal it in place never to open again. If I want to repair the window how to replace the glass and seal plus installation it would be $345. New dash bizzlecan be phone for less than $100 and I have my factory radio still so at least I can reinstall that. My deductible is $500. I bought my new cell phone from verizon for only $50. I paid for the extra insurance. The deductible is $100 to replace my phone.

I doubt the police will ever be able to find all the things that were stolen. you can't replace the sentimental value of your items. And no one can help you feel better after your personal space has been violated.

  I can almost gurantee you it was someone you know very well..   They new your truck...   That is a high dollar truck   thieves think high dollar truck high dollar alarm....

I had my car stolen at the beginning of the month.. they found it up at north shore the next night..no big deal threw a new ignition in and off I go.. 2 weeks later it was stolen again.  But this time they really wanted to say f you.  And lit it on fire. Cops found it burning in the same spot it was a couple weeks earlyer...
