+3 Laeger T-Pin front end (pro trax )
« on: September 01, 2013, 01:34:48 PM »
Ok what I have here is a +3 Laeger pro trax front t-pin front end, the arms and stem are powdered flat black. All seems real tight and in very nice shape. I have one side complete and the stem comes with a standard anti-vibe pro trax stem clamp also and its polished too. $1,150.00 shipped. ( I will have more pics of it all up today, my camera messed up last night for the rest of the pics.) And this also takes oem Honda trx 250r calipers, I did check that already.

Pending sale on arms and spindles

Shoot, if this was a +4 id buy it so fast it would have been on my bike already. Once you go protrax you never go back lol. Good luck with the sale.

Its the standard stem, you are correct. What I was told from a friend who is a big laeger guy that its a newer style and much better that way. He says the heims and what not to the stem don't hold in for mx as well as this one does. But I'm only going off of what he said, please help me if I'm wrong.

Scott at Laeger's will tell you that the reason they went to the ball joint stem was to keep the cost of the kit down.  They still make the clevis / original pro-trax stem and to my understanding it performs better than the ball joint stem.

Ok with all the questions and such about the spindles and if all is tight, I found some issues with some items. It will need new tierods one end is stripped for the oem r tierod end. The upper and lower part of each spindle is nice and tight, but when I wentand pulled out the clevis from the upper a-arm the part that goes in the arm is tweeked. I called and talked to laeger and all is in stock and the cost for 2 tierods is $100 and the upper clevis is $125. I am lowering the price on the set because I don't have the money to order the new parts and will let he buyer get them themselves. $1,250.00 shipped and like I think I said these take 250r calipers not 400ex ones
