Walsh builds a nasty motor from what I have been reading and they know the CRF heads better then anyone as they run them in their new hybrids. Even got there own custom cast CRF heads.

Thanks for for the advice man.

I know Walsh started their engine program a couple years ago and with their dedication to R&D I'm sure they've made big strides in what they can get out of these motors....I'll definitely have to consider them when it comes down to it...plus IMO they have the absolute best customer service in the industry....I'm a huge fan!!!!

Well I've just about buttoned up this build. I headed up to PHX to drop the wheeler of at Dirt Fiend Racing so Sam can give it the final touches. I installed a Custom DFR seat cover and the rear red Laker plastics. Graphics and number plates should go on this week. Hopefully it should be ready to hit ACP for this weekend's race, I'm ready to just get on this thing and ride it!

If you don't mind saying.  What did Axis charge to convert you to piggy backs or did you send somewhere else.  I'd like to have the same conversion done to mine.

No problem at all.

They charged me $795 for the dual adjust upgrade or you can go with single compression for $695. Plus you also have to pay $95 per shock for the service and revalve. They also installed new bumpers though which was $15 per shock. Yeah its a bit steep, but it's so much nicer just slapping the shocks on without messing with a couple of clamps and hose clamps plus they just look cleaner. I called Hygear who I thought could do the work, but ultimately Custom Axis are the only ones that will do the work for the best price...Micah is great to deal with over there...3 week turn around.

Yah shock work isn't cheep at all, the shocks I picked up for the walsh are like new or the fronts are and the rear is slightly used and they are set up for 185lb rider and I want them set up for me at 250lbs and have the rear go from a single rate to a dual rate and its gonna cost me like $1,000.00 to do it all to them but I only paid $1, 050.00 shipped to my door for all 3 of them so not bad at all.

Well I've managed to button up this build and wreck the bike all together since the last time I gave an update haha..Wrecked pretty good during the first lap of this weekend's race at ACP.

And here's the damage the wheeler sustained after running Fullbore into a row of hay bails. Bent T-Pin stem, bent Precision clamps, damaged stem to frame clamp..
