Thanks a lot man...not quite a Walsh but I'm still happy with it haha. Funny you bring up Jerry, we just exchanged emails and he let me in on some info so we'll see what comes of it, but he does awesome work so he would definitely be the best option.

Well just a small update. I finally got the call I've been waiting for from Custom Axis. Micah called and said my shocks were complete and ready to ship today!!! Being out in AZ though, I probably won't see them til the end of next week so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I managed to get all my wheels and tires mounted and made some tricked out, one off T post shocks haha. I wanted to get this thing off the stand and out in the sunlight to get some appreciation out of it. I've poured quite a bit of money and time into it so I wanted to see some actual results.

Still have a ways to go though. Gotta get a chain, install the nerds, install shocks, get my control cables squared away and lastly an order has been put in with Dirt fiend Racing on a rear Red Laker plastic, custom DFR seat cover and full body graphics with number plates.

Thanks!

I'd be curious to see where, when you found one and how much you found it for...it seems like these things are just getting more rare. I've always wanted a Walsh/YZ and I actually have a funny story about almost ending up with one.

A friend of mine who I met on YFZCentral, Grant Tilley had been talking to me about how he always wanted a Walsh/YZ hybrid, but was just about to pull the trigger on a trade with his Walsh YFZ for a Laeger CRF in Cali that a guy would consider. Well ironically at the time I was in the middle of talking to a guy that had a Walsh/YZ 4 spd for sale on Ebay that was out of CT which was considering a trade for my own Walsh YFZ but was located in BFE haha...but I was crazy enough to consider making the drive because I don't think I would have ever had that opportunity again. So my buddy and I had an epipahney and came up with a swap on trades for our Walsh YFZ's. So I reffered him to the guy in CT and he reffered me to the guy in Cali and everything worked itself out. He ended up trading his Walsh YFZ for the Walsh/YZ and I ended up trading my Walsh YFZ for this Laeger/CRF haha...

My Buddy's Walsh/YZ that he picked up which I was anticipating getting.

His YFZ he traded for

My old Walsh YFZ

The Laeger/CRF when I got home after a long drive from Cali.

Sorry I wont tell because I want it to do a build with my nephew, after I go get the aarens for my nephew I found for a good price. Sorry guys I'm not being a jerk or nothing but I have talked to the guy and I need to get a new job and get caught up on my bills and then the aarens build for him and the laeger for me. And I will have my collection complete, although a roll would be nice but still to pricy to me.

I do have pics of both but I'm on my phone and not my computer rite now. I just don't want to show and tell and then not get the money up to get them. My nephew is ganna help pay for the aarens and buy the part for it also. Its a frame with a lsr swingarm and stem with ac pro peg nerfs and rear linkage. And I have spindles, calipers, hubs, radiator, handle bars and some other parts for him also. The laeger Iis a full laeger cr500 with a +4 tpin, 310 motor, red fullbores and sparks pipe and silencer and pep shocks.
