Jerry hall or Pete shemburger both do the case inserts on the suzuki's. on the LT500, this mod is pretty much necessary for a reliable 500, as it was a big problem with the cases. I had mine done (on my QR) I can give ya the info if ya want.

from working on pro stock drag motors i have found that the bearing retainer compound will break down with gas exposure but the regular red permenant lock tight does not. the bearing retainer works fine for oil contact but something about it doesent like gas. years ago we would bore out holley carb bodies and fir them with new venturies. the bearing retaining compounds would never hold up but if we used red locktite they would hold and never move at least not without 400 or so degrees heat. i have fixed a couple of different dirt bike motors using the red and never had a problem. have never done it to a 250r motor. i dont no if it would work if your bearings are loose enough to be slid in and out by hand though. if you still have press them in you should be good.
