Are there color codes for PC like in automotive paint? I want to PC my frame the original honda red, but I don't have anything to match it to.

My pc guys has a color that is real close,I can ask him tomorrow if no one else knows. He also has a gold that peaked my interest!

Yeah best to call since you can get a bunch more free samples - the guy I talked to a few months back actually was rebuilding a couple 250R's as well.

also try powder by the pound they will send you samples sprayed on metal swatches

Thanks guys. I checked out prismatic powders website - looked like they had some that were pretty close, but hard to tell. Ill probably contact my powder coater monday and see what brand powder they use and try to get some samples.

Talk to Andy Seibel, K10Seibel, he restores 250r's and has the colors down for powder. He's matched it all.

Mirror Red is what I went with,dont know the brand though. Also getting some gold done called Summerset Gold,fairly close to oem with a little more metallic,cant wait!

Looks like I'm going with the Red Barron and Bumper Black from dupont. I'll let you know how it turns out and post some pics.

super mirror red is a great color. not sure on how it exactly matches but it f=goes on great and is nice and thick.

This was supposed to be Red Barron red from dupont, but my powder coater only used PPG and had them match it. Seems way too orange to me. Think I might just blast it off and try again with another color. :dejection:
