Does anyone know how to get the plunger pulled back out if one was to get excited upon recieving their new hydraulic clutch and MAYBE pulled the lever a time or 2 before installation? :)

Don't really want to take it apart, becuase their is no bleeder screw on the slave unit.

Thanks

Man I pulled an pulled, even slide a socket over the shaft and used a vise to hold the nipple and used a panel popper to pry up lol

I loosened up the banjo bolt on the slave and easily pulled the shaft out, installed and road it around the yard. ..butter smooth!

Here on the west coast where it rains all the time the stock cable gets oxidized and become extremely hard to pull. I would never consider going back to stock. I sure am glad you got it working Sam. Happy :ride:

Not alot easier, I just think its smoother, doesnt have the hard spot? I dunno how to explain it, but I hope to have more seat time on it here in a couple weeks for a better ride report.

No need to explain, it is nice to have a smooth consistent pull. Not a ruff spot in the beginning middle or end. It is not like it becomes super easy. But after a long day with heavy duty clutch springs you will say it is the best.

:sign0108:  Oh yeah, I am going on 4 years now with the old cable and lever ready to put back on... Only time it gets used is when someone in the riding group has the cable break. The Magura will last many years. After a while you will just say "Why didn't I get one of these years ago...?"

How do you bleed them if you don't have a bleeder kit? I put a used one on a friend's quad and can't get all the air out.

Yep, I bought one and then, bought the steel braided line up-grade! Looks soo much better, plus the steel braided line is obviously stronger! I think that you pretty much have to have the bleeder kit for those!!
 Thanks Higgy
