Went to Bar2Bar again tonight after work. It's not Butter status but I had a blast. This thing rips!
Coming out of one of the many off camber turns

Landing a small double at the start of the downhill rhythm section

The middle double of that same rhythm section

Landing the uphill double

Taking off from one of the back doubles

Landing that same jump

I bet it is great to have a wide open spot where there are no others to get in your way. But we learned in dune riding...always go over the planned route slowly before ripping it up. Its easy to get into 6th gear and be doing 60 MPH in a short amount of time. Nothing like the adrenalin rush!

Puma- Ya it is very nice. Especially because it's only 30min from my house and if I bring the R to work its only 15min. I really want to go to the dunes out west. I've been to Silver Lake in MI once and it was a lot of fun.

Spiritaces- I gotcha now. There's a ton of riding to do up there in MI as I'm sure you already know.

^^^^^^ Exactly. Best to keep your head on a swivel out there for sure. The dunes are some of the best riding areas in oregon.

no there isnt. I was talking about me moving back to MI and then i can ride like I'm used to

Hey spiritaces I noticed you're from PHX??? I was gonna mention that Motogrande can be a fun track of you've ever been there. I know they let quads on the track when they are open. Also try Canyon MX on Thurs nights. Just thought I'd share some info in case you didn't know.

Well had a minor set back today. Got to the track and nobody was there so I did a couple site laps and then got into a race pace. Decided I was going to nut up and hit one of the big stepups in the middle of the track. The whole jump is 120ft but there are two landings, one at 80 and then the other all the way over the hill. I hit it in 4th almost wide open and landed it perfectly on the 80ft landing, hell ya! When I got the bottom of the hill I sat down to set up for the corner and felt the rear shock po-going. I immediately went back to the truck and took the rear plastic off to see what was wrong and saw my rear shock line exploded. Lost a ton of fluid all over my swingarm and airbox. I was planning on having all 3 shocks serviced this winter but I guess I'll be doing that now instead of later. It sucks because there was a race this weekend not too far from me that I wanted to get in but I'll have to wait until next year I guess. Probably be calling Baldwin tomorrow to see how much it will be to get all of them serviced and a new line on the rear. I guess that's racin'.

That sucks but in the same breath lucky it happened after you had already landed.  It might have been bad if it blew right when you landed.

That's true Jeremy. Calling Baldwin and Maul Tech this morning to see who can get my shocks done the quickest.

I would check with sfracing and see what his turn around time would be. And then there is a fella that works for pep and Seth knows him too, his screen name is the shock guy on .net. He is out of Pennsylvania and does good work from what I've heard.
