Im looking for a place to send a OEM kicker to get chromed. I had one milled down so that it would not scratch my quick change cover and im looking to have it chromed. Any suggestions??

i use a place called abel metal processing in Cleveland, ohio (http://www.abelmetal.com).  they do bike/car parts as a walk in business (industrial parts as a full time business).  here's some of the work i had done.  if i recall a kicker was something like $20.  of course the more you have chromed the cheaper the prices are.  i have a big batch of parts that i'm taking to them in the near future.  if you want you can send the kicker my way and i will take care of it (if you can't find someone local to you).  turn around time was about 2 weeks (due to the volume of parts that i had done).  check out there website.  feel free to pm me or email me at:
joseph.ivanac@att.net if you need any help.

ryan:  any chrome powder i have ever seen in person looks like a shiny silver.

Glad to know there's someone right here in OH that does good work. I might have some stuff done up there this winter.

Chrome powder looks awful.  I have never done it, but my local powder coater showed me a sample and it reminded me of the fake spray paint chrome.

chrome powder looks fine if done properly but don't think of it as chrome.

I use a couple local shops and Steve (Bright-Werx) would be a good option if you're shipping parts.

$70 for the parts shown.   I still have a swing arm and some a arms that are being finished up.  when I pick up my other stuff I will ask Abel metals to put together a price sheet (individual prices).  I tend to get a better price because of the volume of parts and being a repeat customer.
