Well I have started polishing some parts for myself and Jon, learned some new things and got some good advice and polishing products from Tony (Pumashine). Pics will be posted soon, but if anyone wants some parts polished up let me know. For now I can not do cases, cylinders, or hinson qc covers. I can do stock clutch covers, stator covers, throttle covers, mc covers, mc guards, stem clamps, stem to frame clamps. Rear grab bars and front bumpers and nerfs and rad shrouds as well.

Good for you Jamie. That was nice of Tony, to share those trade values. What is the issue, with polishing the cylinders?

To work efficiently you need 2 machines or 4 wheels. Smaller and larger...coarse and fine. The OEM cylinder is very rough compared to pro-x. All the sanding cartridges and tools take a while to accumulate. He did a good job touching up Jons cylinder!

Cool stuff Jamie!  I always end up with black compound all over myself after touching up a bike!.. but I'm addicted to shiny things.. any tips on what kind of mask and headwear you've found to work the best?

I bought a -1 Hinson pedal a while back and Jamie polished it for me. Here's a pic. I'm sending a bunch of other stuff so I'll post another pic when I get that stuff back.

I just wear a white mask that forms to my faceand a pair of safety glasses when I do the polishing. So no breathing it and no black boogers either.
