Oh ok so thats probably the ticket then. Do you have a vent hose coming out of the cases under the intake? This motor has one thats plugged

is it a brass vent tube? i remember seeing some pics of it but i cant recall what it was for?? Nitrous maybe?? I would ask Troy or Dave to be sure.

Crank is balanced and I didn't have any vibration issues. It was smoother than I thought it would be.

Good to know. So you're running a bigger cast bowl on a Keihin or Lectron carb? What intake boot? I had worried a bigger bowl may cause fitment clearance issues with the case.

The cast bowl from CPI is made specifically for the Honda when running a Lectron. It has a cut out to clear the case.

Not that I'm aware of. Not sure a need exists for one actually. The huge cast cowl is not needed until you get into the big Lectron carbs where lots of Alky is needed.

You can see what the bowl looks like here. It has two fuel inlets and two sets of floats. Hold lots of fuel, but will set you back $200 new.

You can see how the corners cut off to clear the case. Mine still rubs a little due to being a Polonda with a different reed cage welded on and and a custom intake.

Im running the UPP boot and cast bowl on my Cutler carb. Mine clears the case but not by much. The Tyson frame i have was running a Puma with a Lectron carb. But with my Saber and the Cutler i had to cut the shock mount tube and move it back.

My Lectron barely clears the cross tube with the shock mount on a stock frame. No way could I fit that monster of a cutler without modify my frame like Wayne did.
